I've taught calculus to a student who could not even complete grade 10 math. I have the ability to cut through all the nonsense and teach only what is necessary in order to learn the material and do well on exams. I've been able to attend 0 lectures in a class and get over 80%, or attend all lectures in a class and get over 95%. Right, and I graduated with distinction from Industrial Systems Engineering. And you definitely didn't see me in the library or the classroom.

The problem with University professors is that they are not teachers, they are researchers. Their main focus is not to teach students, it is to further their own research and receive funding by the University by teaching. I know what it is like to cram for an exam, to attend literally 0 lectures and have to sift through massive amounts of information in a short period of time in order to pass a test. I also know what it is like to study to get 100% in a course. I am able to offer both to students, if they want in-depth, extensive knowledge, I can provide it. If for some reason, they have fallen behind in their studies, and nothing was done in advance to prepare for the situation, I also am able to cut through all the unnecessary concepts and teach the more pertinent concepts. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your needs. Final exam time can be very stressful and it can be much easier with a tutor to help direct your studying attempts. I should add that I only want to work with students that actually want to learn. If you expect to sit there and not actually do any work, don't be surprised if you fail the class.
