Education
I obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of Toronto and Master of Science from the University of Alberta. I also hold a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Research from the Michener Institute for Education. Currently. I am completing a PhD in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta.
Experience
I have previously worked as a tutor in various college and university health sciences courses. Some of the courses I have experience tutoring are Clinical Exercise Testing and Prescription, Human Anatomy, Adapted Physical Activity, and Human Physiology. In addition to this, I have tutored courses on Exercise Physiology, Advanced Cardiorespiratory Physiology, Psychosocial Development, Disability Studies, Women and Gender Studies, and Physical Literacy in the Early Years. As a multiple time survivor of childhood cancer, I believe that my purpose in life is to help people reach and even surpass their goals and dreams in any way that I can. I am currently working as a research assistant and teaching assistant at the University of Alberta while I complete my PhD, and I am also a Registered Kinesiologist. Writing, justifying my position, study planning, and time management skills come naturally to me, and I'd love to help you in your journey.
